Max Verstappen Extends Championship Lead After Dominant Monaco GP Win

Category: Formula 1 | Tags: Max Verstappen, Monaco Grand Prix 2025, Red Bull Racing, Formula 1 Standings

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen put on another masterclass in street racing with a dominant win at the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix, extending his lead atop the Formula 1 World Championship standings.

The Dutchman led every lap from pole position, showing calm under pressure despite a mid-race virtual safety car and late push from Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. Verstappen’s consistency and tactical brilliance now place him 46 points clear of his nearest rival.

“Monaco is always special, and winning here never gets old,” Verstappen said post-race. “We executed perfectly, and the team gave me an incredible car.”
