Lewis Hamilton Says Mercedes ‘Finally Back in the Fight’ After Podium Finish

Category: Formula 1 | Tags: Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes F1, Podium Finish, 2025 F1 Season, Constructors’ Championship

After months of struggle and uncertainty, Lewis Hamilton has declared that Mercedes is “finally back in the fight” following a third-place finish at the Monaco Grand Prix. The result marks the team’s first podium of the 2025 season and a significant morale boost after a string of underwhelming performances.

Hamilton, who started fifth, delivered a vintage drive filled with aggressive overtakes and tire management. “We’ve made progress, and I’m proud of the work from everyone back at the factory,” he said.

With car upgrades scheduled for the next three races, Mercedes now sets its sights on closing the gap to Red Bull and Ferrari in the Constructors’ Championship standings.
